Imagine soft, chewy graham cracker cookies perfectly cradling a fluffy cloud of marshmallow and a rich, decadent chocolate truffle. These delightful bites capture all the iconic flavors of traditional s’mores without the need for a bonfire, making them an effortless and irresistible dessert for any occasion. Quick to prepare and even quicker to disappear, they’re designed for easy grabbing and enjoyment, whether you’re hosting a summer barbecue, a cozy campout, a festive holiday gathering, or simply craving a moment of pure bliss.

There’s something truly magical about the combination of toasted marshmallow, melted chocolate, and crisp graham crackers. It evokes memories of warm summer nights, laughter around a crackling fire, and the simple joy of a perfectly gooey dessert. Our S’mores Cookie Cups take that cherished experience and transform it into a convenient, bite-sized cookie form. Each cup starts with a golden-brown graham cracker cookie base, baked to a soft, chewy perfection. This base creates a delightful contrast to the airy marshmallow fluff that fills its center, offering a melt-in-your-mouth texture that’s utterly divine. To complete the s’mores experience, we add a luscious chocolate truffle, bringing a rich, luxurious depth to every bite. These cookie cups are not just a dessert; they’re a celebration of classic flavors in a fun, portable package that’s perfect for sharing with friends and family.
The beauty of these S’mores Cookie Cups lies in their versatility and ease. They are a fantastic addition to virtually any event, from casual outdoor gatherings to elegant holiday spreads. Picture them adorning your dessert table at a birthday party, bringing smiles to a potluck, or adding a touch of homemade charm to your annual Christmas cookie exchange. They’re also an ideal treat for those spontaneous sweet cravings, coming together with minimal effort and impressive results. Beyond their deliciousness, the make-ahead potential of these cookies is a game-changer. You can bake the graham cracker cups in advance and freeze them, then simply assemble with marshmallow fluff and truffles just before serving. This flexibility makes them a stress-free option for busy hosts and bakers who want to enjoy the festivities as much as their guests do.

For our family, the holiday season is truly the most wonderful time of the year. There’s an undeniable warmth and coziness that settles in, bringing with it a flurry of excitement and cherished traditions. From the twinkling lights that transform our home into a winter wonderland to the joyful anticipation of gathering with loved ones, every moment is imbued with a special kind of magic. This feeling is amplified now that my son, Little Dude, is at an age where he fully embraces the wonder of it all. His Christmas wish list has been a work in progress since September, meticulously updated and proudly displayed by the fireplace since October, just in case Santa needed an early peek! Watching his eyes light up with every decoration, every festive song, and every whispered secret about holiday plans, reminds me of the pure joy the season brings.
My husband and Little Dude have already embarked on their annual planning session for our outdoor light display, with ambitious new additions being secretly discussed – I’ve been sworn to secrecy, of course. Meanwhile, my mind drifts to the culinary delights of the season. This year, we’re hosting Thanksgiving, which means my imagination is already swirling with menu ideas for a magnificent feast. However, what truly gets my heart fluttering is the prospect of Christmas baking and hosting. Baking has always been a beloved part of our holiday rituals, a way to express love and create lasting memories. And these S’mores Cookie Cups have quickly become a delightful new staple in our festive repertoire, embodying the spirit of warmth and indulgence that defines the holidays.

Bringing a tray of homemade cookies to every holiday event is a tradition I deeply cherish. There’s a special satisfaction in assembling a colorful assortment of treats on beautiful platters, each cookie baked with love and thoughtfulness. It’s a wonderful way to say thank you to our hosts and add a personal touch to the celebration. Who could ever be unhappy when greeted with a plate piled high with delicious holiday goodies? We also open our home for Christmas morning omelets, and a generous array of cookies is always a must. In fact, a few disappointed faces would certainly appear if the cookie trays were missing!
It’s always amusing to watch which cookies people gravitate towards first, and everyone loves taking home a little bag of their favorites. While certain classics like our rolled sugar cookies, kolachy, and fudge-dipped crescent cookies are non-negotiable staples, I always make sure to introduce one or two new creations each year. This keeps things exciting for me in the kitchen and adds an element of delightful surprise for our guests. This year, these irresistible S’mores Cookie Cups stole the show, quickly becoming the star of every cookie tray they graced. Their unique presentation and tantalizing combination of flavors intrigued everyone the moment they appeared.
One bite was all it took to confirm their instant popularity. The delightful crunch of the graham cracker cookie, followed by the pillowy marshmallow fluff and the luxurious burst of a rich chocolate truffle, created an unforgettable experience. And, of course, the “problem” with offering three different types of chocolate truffles? Everyone feels compelled to try them all to determine their favorite – a delicious dilemma we all gladly embrace!

If you’re searching for an extra special treat to delight your family and friends this year, look no further than these S’mores Cookie Cups. Not only do the cookies themselves come together in almost no time, but their make-ahead potential is a lifesaver during busy times. You can bake the graham cracker cookie bases weeks in advance and store them in the freezer. Then, on the day before your celebration, simply thaw and assemble with marshmallow fluff and your chosen truffles. It’s that easy! Imagine greeting your guests at the door with a warm hug and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, perfectly complementing a platter of these delightful cookies. It’s the kind of effortless elegance that makes holiday hosting a joy.
These S’mores Cookie Cups are not just a dessert; they are an experience. They bring smiles, spark conversation, and transport everyone back to those cherished moments of summer campfires, all from the comfort of your kitchen. The balance of textures – the crisp, tender cookie, the airy, sweet marshmallow, and the smooth, melting chocolate – makes for an incredibly satisfying treat. So, whether you’re planning your holiday baking, preparing for a special event, or simply want to bring a little extra sweetness into your life, these cookie cups are guaranteed to be a hit. We encourage you to try them and discover your favorite chocolate truffle pairing!

USA Pan Bakeware Mini Cupcake and Muffin Pan, 24 Well
Ingredients
- ½ cup butter softened
- ¼ cup sugar
- ½ cup light brown sugar packed
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¾ cup flour
- ½ cup graham cracker crumbs
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup marshmallow fluff
- 24 Lindt Lindor truffles
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease 24 mini muffin wells.
-
In a large bowl, beat the softened butter until it is smooth and creamy. Gradually add the granulated sugar and light brown sugar, creaming the mixture until it becomes light and fluffy.½ cup butter, ¼ cup sugar, ½ cup light brown sugar
-
Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until they are fully combined into the butter mixture.1 egg, 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
-
In a separate small bowl, whisk together the flour, graham cracker crumbs, baking powder, and salt until well combined.¾ cup flour, ½ cup graham cracker crumbs, ¼ teaspoon baking powder, ½ teaspoon salt
-
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined and no streaks of flour remain. Be careful not to overmix.
-
Roll the cookie dough into approximately 1-inch balls and place one into each greased mini muffin well. Lightly press each dough ball into the well to form a cup shape.
-
Bake for about 10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Remove the muffin tin from the oven. Immediately, while the cookies are still warm, use the back of a Tablespoon or a small cookie scoop to create a distinct indent in the center of each cookie. This will be the perfect spot for your marshmallow fluff and chocolate. Allow cookies to cool in the tin for about 5 minutes before carefully removing them to a wire rack to cool completely.
-
If you plan to make these cookies ahead of time, this is the perfect stage to do so. Once completely cooled, place the empty cookie cups in an airtight container or freezer bag and freeze for up to 2-3 months. Thaw at room temperature before filling.
-
To serve, simply spoon about a teaspoon of marshmallow fluff into the indent of each cooled cookie cup. Gently press a Lindt Lindor truffle (or your favorite chocolate candy) into the center of the marshmallow fluff. Serve immediately and enjoy the delightful combination of flavors and textures!¼ cup marshmallow fluff, 24 Lindt Lindor truffles
